Premier League Recap: The Robot, The Reds, and The Snooze - Fest

While we were focused on La Liga, the Premier League decided to absolutely lose its mind this weekend. If you missed the action because you were watching the Villarreal game, don't worry. We've got the cheat sheet.

The table is tighter than a drum heading into the festive period, but three games defined the weekend.

1. The Thriller: Tottenham 3-4 Liverpool

Search "Spurs vs Liverpool highlights" right now. You're welcome. This was easily the Game of the Season.

Tottenham were leading 3-2 at home in the 89th minute. Then, the chaos arrived. A 90th-minute equalizer from Trent Alexander-Arnold silenced the London crowd, followed by a Darwin Nunez winner in the 98th minute. Liverpool refuses to let Arsenal breathe.

2. The Statement: Nott'm Forest 0-4 Man City

While Arsenal and Liverpool are winning with heart attacks, Manchester City is winning like a machine. They traveled to the City Ground and dismantled Forest.

Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick. Again. He didn't smile. He just scored, waved, and subbed off. City sends a message: "Have your fun, Arsenal. We are coming."

3. The History: Everton 0-1 Arsenal

This was a historic day-Arsenal's first-ever visit to Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium. The atmosphere was hostile, and the game was ugly.

A scrappy 1-0 win? Boring. But... that is how you win titles. The Gunners survive the new stadium test and stay Top of the Tree for Christmas.

🏆 GoalRush think

"Winning at Tottenham is hard. Winning at Tottenham when you are losing in the 89th minute? That is champion stuff. Liverpool might be 3rd, but they look the scariest. And credit to Arsenal - that new Everton stadium is a cauldron. Most teams will lose points there this season; Arsenal took all three."
